Original Hubbell Brush Pens in exhibition framing
These eight original Charles Hubbell brush-pens are 14 x 10 image size in matching thick
bevel-matted frames to 16 x 19, of military, commercial and antique
airplanes. Most of these match up to the finalized calendar renderings and make
interesting comparisons from the initial concepts to the finished product. They all still
have their original Smithsonian exhibit numbers (in parentheses) affixed to the lower right
corner, so they can be matched to the original exhibition brochure list of paintings
displayed. Obviously, each one is a unique original piece of Hubbell art. Almost all
have original notes on the backs. Most have a gold metallic title label on the front
bottom, center of frame.
Offered @ $599 each.
